Whadduuuupppp everybody how's it going! Dude so strange, each day this week was slower than molasses but I feel like I sent out my last email literally yesterday. Times a strange thing. But this week was the first in the new area of Paar, and I'm happy to bring the good news that I'm loving the new area already! I've been meeting the members and the folks in our teaching pool this week, and it's got a different vibe than Tapanã but it's all super exciting. Super beautiful area too, I'm overall pumped to get the work going here. Let's talk some of the deets of the week then shall we?  As the title of the email suggests, I have been walking a LOT more this week than I was walking in Tapanã. Alright so maybe not blisters on my fingers, but fingers and toes are the same word in Portuguese so it checks out. But it's true folks, my days of an area where everything is conveniently close together is behind me. This week, we've been trying to visit people...

Yo yo yo everybody how are things a-GOIN'? Folks quite a week it's been here for me. This was the last week before the transfer, so I said all my goodbyes to the friends I've made here in Tapanã, and I'll be kissing my first stomping grounds goodbye first thing tomorrow morning. Starting tomorrow, I'll be making my way to this area called "Paar," which is another area in the city of Belém. Additionally, I'll be finding the next homeboy comp Elder Bertoch which I'm mad hyped about, heard he's a chiller and a groover. But overall, I am beyond grateful for the time I've had here in Tapanã, and can't wait for the upcoming adventure to start in the land of paar-omise tomorrow! This week, me and Elder Lokham contracted a deadly Brazilian plague (a common cold) and I have been dying (just coughing and sneezing) all week. Noth...

"I have to admit, it's getting better"

Fala hims and hers of the audience! How is everyone doing? This last week was a jam and a half for us over here in Tapanã, and I'm here to tell you all about the good news. Dare say it was one of the best weeks we've had here yet! So sit back, relax, but not too hard or you might fall asleep, and let's get right into this puppy.  Alright so the first half of the week was a little sluggish. We put our friend Evlyn on date for this week and had her interview Tuesday, but didn't know how confident we were that her mom would permit it (we've had problems with this for like the last severas months). Additionally, we placed the majority of our appointments on Wednesday, but also had an appointment to the Hospital on Wednesday to check and see if Elder Lokham's throats all good. Underestimated how long the hospital would take, and a 2 hour time frame turned into a 6 and a half ( ) so we had to cancel most of our appointments. And then the whole day of Thursday was take...
