Elder Jacob Hillstead

Welcome back folk. This week was nuttier than a walnut salad, to put it plainly. I got a LOTTA tales and a LOTTA flicks to share with you all from the week, so for this segment I decided to put two and two together and do some show-and-tell typa action... lets run it back  1. FREE AS A BIRD  We had ourselves some groundbreaking, EARTH-shattering changes to the mission this week folks. Turns out that after Elder Eddy pulled up to the Brazil Belem Mission, he talked with President Ferriera about all the extra rules set on the mission, and they decided that we should just stick to the ones established by the church. Or in other words... SPORTS ON P DAY AGAIN WOO HOOO!!! Since I stepped foot here in Brazil I haven't been able to step foot on any sort of field or court or anything, but now time's have changed. But guys this last week was a real whooper, tons o' stuff happened and I've got pictures in case anyone wants proof. But enough of the appetizer let's get to the main freakin dish already        We had a Mission Tour this last week! This gentlemen named Elder Eddy (member of the 70) rolled up to the mission to talk with all of us and it was great. He spoke about the importance of us staying focused on our purpose, and doing the right stuff for the right reason, and my oh my was it a message for the ages. One of those messages you hear and you're ready to hit the streets and work hard as tar. So yeah super cool to meet him and his wife, they bought ice cream for the whole Macapá Zone and I'm totally not salty about it it's whatever   but ya that was for sure a highlight of the ...

Yo yo yo yo YO everybody tuning in for anotha' episode of the hillstead times. I aint gotta lotta time today cause I talked to family and friends for a tonna time so lemme just run yall through the week real fast so that yall ain't in the dark  I turned 19 yesterday! It was so fun having a birthday here on the mish, for sure a day I'll never forget. A special thank you to all my family and friends who made videos and sent me stuff, you all made my birthday so special. I'm gonna thank yall directly trust me I just don't have time today, but sincerely it meant so much to me. It was also cool cause we got to meet our branch and all the people there are so awesome. Our branch president is this 30-year old youngster who is super willing to work out, and the other boys of the branch seem like dawgs so it'll be fun getting to work with them more.  Also it was the first week here in Marabá! WELLL well well folks the cat is out of the bag. We have ourselves a feast of a transfer, and just to let yall know off the bat I've gotta catch myself a plane today so this'll be a shorter email. 30% words and 70% flicks is the goal. But here's the sitch:  - I'm leaving Macapá and making my way OVER to maraba. LZ told me I'm going there last night and I was like "where's that at" and he was like "basically the middle of freakin' nowhere" only he said it in Portuguese. But ya basically I'm heading over to another area far from Belém, becoming district leader and opening ANOTHA area. Also I have maybe the most legendary zone of all time? Boutta have the legendary Elder Villafan as LZ AND making a first time appearance Elder Emett as a LZ too. Not to mention I've got the day 1 solider Elder Schudde and his mystery son in my district as well, so it's gonna be a heckin party. Def a pain we only see each other once a month but it...
