Hey all! Hey  for those who usually just skip to the flicks at the end , totally respect the lifestyle but Ive got a  special request  for everyone today.  We've got a buddy of ours named Moisés, who were really trying to help become a member of the church. I mentioned him a couple of weeks back in one of my emails, but he's had a lot of spiritual experiences in his life and he knows that this is the true church of God! He's in a difficult situation where he has to resolve his marriage and a living situation, and so he's up against some daunting and discouraging conversations and situations.  I would like to ask all of you, be you a family member, a friend, a missionary in another Zone or in another mission, to  include the name  Moisés  in your prayers.  Pray that he will have the strength to resolve this situation, so that he can continue taking steps in the direction he wants to go! Thank you all so much, it will make a  very big ...

FEB 2: MYSTERY IN MACAPÁ

Bom dia family! How are we?  This week was legitimate. Honestly not a whole ton happened but at the same time - there ain't never a week where there ain't a lot going down. We're on a fat grind to find interested souls and we're seeing miracles as we make sacrifices. Biggest tip of the week:  working with members is the hack.  Thanks for that one Dad  We started up another Zone game this week, called "Mystery in Macapa." It's basically got the same rules as Mafia, just projected onto a mission playfield. Each day, we send out challenges to the Zone that's got something to do with the work, and at the end of the day everyone sends us a message, telling us how much of xyz they did.  Then, the person we designated as assasin can  choose  someone who they want to try and assasinate in the Zone. And if they ended up getting more points than the other area, the next morning when everyone wakes up there's a story of tragedy written in the Zone group chat ...

Whaddup folk, I'm thinkin that I'll start up a new tradition here on the hill mail. I love reading the stories of all the other fellas here in the MBB, so every week, Ima read your emails and decide which story was the most out there then I'll give y'all a doodle for it. This week's shoutout goes out to my boy  Elder Brewer , who got slammed with a wall of rain outta nowhere  hope that umbrella did something for ya! #beleminthewinternãopresta Anywayyys though, I got CRAZY sunburnt this last week. Remember how I mentioned we went and played volleyball at the beach area for a while last p-day? Dude, massive mistake. I forgot that I wear a collared shirt and pants every single day, and so when I wear regular clothes in the sun my freakin paper white skin is exposed and I burn up like a vampire. So all week I've been getting roasted both literally and socially for being red as a coke can out here. Luckily, our sweet neighbor members let me borrow their umbrella for ...

Love and monsters

Ever since my first day in Macapá back in May of last year, one truth has been made aparent: the dogs here are pure evil. They aren't even really dogs is the truth of it, they're more like evil mutant wolf beasts that could probably stand up on their hind legs and chase after you if they wanted, but they sure look like dogs. In my experience, I've had a variety of memories avoiding, defending against or fleeing from dogs here, but  one  dog takes the cake for the worst of the bunch.  Brian Brian's the baddest apple in the orchard. He's an old half-blind dog, hates everyone who doesn't feed him, has a broken leg (but doesn't let that stop him from chasing after people and trying to bite them) and on top of that, he loves to camp right smack in the middle of an apartment complex we're constantly walking through.  This week, we were really trying to help one of our friends, Kevellen, be baptized, but she lives in the apartment block  literally  right where ...

Dude how on earth has another transfer already passed by. Time LITERALLY feels like it speeds up with every passing day. This transfer was a great one, but now she's behind us! The next chapter'll be more or less just a Round 2 version of the last! Ill be staying in the same area, with the same comp, just some new friends in the zone and more challenges with solutions to find. More growth to be had  This last week in the Zone was a party though. We hosted our game "The Macapoffice," where each day we sent out a challenge with both a work and a fun side, with a set number of points everyone would win as they completed the assignments. So this week we worked EXTRA super hard, and got some heckin pearls out of it as a product. Flicks down below  I made some great buddies over the course of the transfer. Here in the zone, there were like 3 or 4 Elders who got here over the last couple months, and there were some key moments where they were using this new fangled recent en...
