A Testimony of Christmas

MEEERRY CHRIIISTMAS everybody! I hope everyone's been full of holliness and jolliness and other -inesses that brings joy to all. There's something so happy about this time of year, and I don't think it's any sort of coincidence that it's the season we commemorate the Birth of Jesus Christ. This email is going to be pretty brief because I've got other top secret Christmas duties I've got to attend to, but I wanted to take this opportunity to share my thoughts and testimony about the Birth of Jesus Christ, and my gratitude for his life.

This week especially I've been more proud than ever to wear the name of Jesus Christ everywhere that I go. The time that we celebrate the birth of the only begotten, the son of God who gave all that he had for us with his time here on Earth, that we may be happy for eternity. So what does the Birth of Jesus Christ mean to me?
To me, the story of the nativity is a summary of his life here on Earth. Jesus Christ left his throne in Heaven in order to enter into the world for each one of us. He knew exactly what his role would be that he would have to fulfill; all of the suffering, pain and rejection that he would go through, and never once did he desire to be put on a pedestol above others. He was born in a stall of animals, and in the end descended lower than any other person on Earth already has or will ever be able to. His desire is not to be served by all, but to be a servant to all. He dedicated the entirety of his mortal life to fulfilling the crucial role that the Savior of the Earth had to fulfill, and felt every single hardship and pain anybody has or will go through. The reason that he invites all to come unto him is not because he wants to be put above you or me, but because he know that it is through him that we can saved. Because he literally has a perfect love for each one of us, and gave the greatest present in the World, being our opportunity to be saved and perfected through him. In this season of giving and presents, we must not forget that his birth is the greatest present that we were ever given.
I bear my solemn testimony that it is through and with Jesus Christ that we are made whole. Not only can we overcome our struggles and difficulties with him, but we can be made into the best person that we can be. He has always had us as the end goal. He pictured yours and mine face while he was suffering, and he decided that it was worth it. That each one of us is worth it to him. I testify that he truly is always here for each one of us, that Jesus the Christ lives and that his birth IS a marvelous day to be celebrated. The day it was confirmed that a savior for the Earth was born, and that we could all be saved through him. I testify to each one of you reading that the way that we can show him that we love him is by making him a prority in our life. He gave his entire life to us, the least we can do is give him a percent in return. Don't be like that wacked Inn who turned him away and said they had no space. We gotta make space for him in our lives dudes. I can PROMISE you guys that the more we make him a priority in our lives, the more joy we will feel, and the more the Savior's power will be available unto you.
It's a real blessing that right after the holiday we come unto Jesus, is the Holiday a new year starts. I will repeat the same invitation made by the prophet, and invite each of you to rededicate your time to Jesus Christ. Decide this next year to be changed through and with him, and I testify that the difference and the joy you feel will be of none other. Merry Christmas to each one of you, I love you all and I am so grateful for you and for being blessed to be in Brazil during this time. Until next time, Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
