Fala galera! Ain't got much time today to yap unfortunately so let's get right to her. This week was really good! We've been meeting a bunch of awesome people, progressing way nice, and I think I should be seeing some real miracles before my time here in Tapanã is up. This week, I've been really trying to have more faith in the Lord, faith without doubts. Been praying more each day with more frequency and more sincerity than I think ever before, and I can say with certainty that the power of prayer is so real. Every time I pray, believing that what I'm asking for is for a good cause and that God will grant it, I feel like a boost of energy in whatever it is I'm asking for. I want to share this rad scripture I found in 3 Nephi with all y'all, because it's pretty simple but to apply it will change your life.
3 Nephi 18: 20, the Savior speaking;
20 And whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is right, believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be given unto you.
Each time that I pray, I'm not trying to change God's will or plan. I'm praying to be more in line with his will, so that my actions, words and thoughts reflect what he has planned for me, and all of his other children. I have already experienced the confirmation that this is true, praying often is how we recieve comfort, direction and strength in the tough moments. I know that through practicing and doing this more will improve my relationship with Heavenly Father, sensitivity to the Spirit, and love for my Savior, Jesus Christ. May all those with the faith to pray and to act in his name be blessed, in his name amen.
I know this week's relatively short, but I've gotta make my way to the airport today to exchange some green money for some colorful money so I've gotta keep it brief. Some other highlights were that we got ice cream this week for like the first time since I arrived here (dude it was so good), found myself in the throne of ingrown toenail extracting once again, believe it or not, and I had the opportunity once again to go to the temple this week! So, so grateful that I'm in an area where I get to make a visit there once a month. Literally such a blessing to me, and like a fresh pack of spiritual batteries each time I go. Would encourage everyone who's able to pay a visit this week, it's never been too recent to go again. Until next week fellas, I hope everyone is good, living life to the fullest, and remember they've always got a pal down in Brazil. Talk to yall next week, abração!
