GOOD DAY SUNSHINE
Welcome back welcome back gang! Back at it again with another week, and there's no way of describing her besides saying it was blessed! Lemme say the sayings for yall here
Alerrandro was baptized this week!!!
we kept working with him after last week, bro came to a ward activity and met some members, and at the end of the week he was feeling mad ready to make the baptism happen. Also he said he dipped last Sunday cause he had to buy new shoes, and as much as I wanted to be ticked at the guy for ditching, it's near impossible to be mad at someone with the freshest pair of dress shoes this side of the hemisphere. Dude's a super awesome guy, i was super happy that we found him and that we got to play a part in his starting down the covenant path!

Elder Klinger and I arriving here outta nowhere was a blow to the momentum but now it's going again. We got a tonna folk progressing, showing interest, and it's clear as day that the Lord's been working with us and blessing us like crazy. Super grateful for the opportunity to be opening the area with the son, and so grateful that the both of us are wanting to work hard to give the Lord the chance to work in the lives of these people around us. This transfers gonna have a ton of adventures and I'm starting to get a feel for it now.
Some of the other happenings:
- We ran it back at the notary office this week to help this couple Izaia & Majara get married! The whole rest of their fam was already baptized and they're wanting to too, but were just waiting on being able to be married. Super cool to be able to be a part of that too.
- Elder Klinger's a certified dawg bro. Each day we're joking in the road while walking from appointment to appointment, but during lessons he's locked. Each night we get home freakin tired as tar and it's always such a good feeling. This last week we also discovered this old sony camera he's got and so we've been flicking it up during the week

- We've got a competition in our zone which they basically call the Hunger Games, where twice a week we'll compete duo against duo to see who can win. It's usually something like placing the most dates, having the most lessons, stuff like that. Tuesday the competition was to meet the most new folk, and me and Elder Klinger did NOT wanna lose so we ended up meeting and teaching 17 new people on Tuesday alone
don't @ us
don't @ us - On Thursday night outta nowhere this group of kids pulled up and starting asking us questions about what we do as missionaries. We ended up teaching this whole galera about the Gospel and the importance of baptism and it was so funny cause it was so outta nowhere. We had a member with us at the time and he took a photo while we were teaching em (see down below)
Lately in mine own studies I've been diving more into the New Testament stories and trying to learn a lot from the example Jesus Christ left for us. In Luke 5, we can read about when Jesus chose his Apostles. One thing that really stood out to me was the fact he chose regular fisherman and their friends, instead of the most educated people in the land. It's a simple message, but it meant a lot to me because even though I'm imperfect and weak, Jesus Christ didn't call me as a missionary because he thought I'd do perfect. If he wanted to, he could be the one walking and converting this people, doing a much better job than I'd be. But, like how he chose his Apostles from regular men, I know that I've been called to serve to that I can learn to depend on Christ in all things. When there is any moment of success, I know that I have none of it to credit to myself save the fact I opened my mouth and spread the information that this is the path happiness is found on. But all of the miracle-working going on is solely because of Jesus Christ. I know he knows everyone in this area individually and I feel the solemn priviledge to try and bring his children back unto him. the Lord is my strength and my song, and I will never forget the priviledge to wear his name each day and be his representative.
Talk to everybody here in another week! Peace ouuutuh
