"There were bells on a hill" ๐Ÿ””๐Ÿคต‍♂️๐Ÿ‘ฐ‍♀️

The week was INCREDIBLE!

Ladies and gentlemen we have ourselves a wall of famer on our hands. This last week was freakin' marvelous for a number of reasons, and I'm amped to tell yall about the why!

Something amazing that happened was that we were able to help our 2 friends Izaia and Majara get legally wedded this last week woot woooot!! Where are my fellow wedders at ๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ Elder Johnson step up ☝️naw but seriously it was actually a super chill process and they're so happy! We had members being a bunch of help to us and it was overall just a super smooth process. The missionarios in this area before us I know have been pushing for this marriage and so I'm mad hyped we were finally able to see the signature on the certificate first hand.

Actually speaking of the marriage, we were planning on going to the notary office on Saturday to get everything ironed out and finalized. The plan was for these 2 members to pick up Izaia and Majara at their house and head to the office after. We'd sent messages to the couple saying the times and everything that the members were gonna pick them up, and they were like okay perfect. Then on Saturday morning during the time the marriage was supposed to be, one of the members sends a message being like "dudeee we just arrived here to pick them up and NEITHER of them are dressed or ready to go." I started to panic, I was like the marriage appointment is in 15 minutes how are we gonna get them dressed and to the office in time? And in the midst of my array Elder Klinger was just smiling a smug ol smile and he was like I've got a feeling everything will work out. I didn't see how it would work out but you already know I was boutta trust the son's judgement. We booked an Uber to the notary office hoping that we would be able to arrive there to inform the marriage peeps what happened and that the couple would arrive later. While we were in the Uber I was texting Izaia tryna understand being like hey so uhh what happened? And he was like what do you mean? And I was like are you guys going to be ready to go soon? And he was like we're already at the notary office waiting. ๐Ÿง‍♂️bruh. I literally do not know HOW it happened but somehow between the 5 minute time frame of the member telling us he wasn't ready and then they were AT the notary office waiting. I was freakin awestruck in the car, I was like Elder Klinger how the heck did that even just happen it was like MAGIC. And he was just like toldya it'd work out. It worked out dude, everything worked out and I know I've got the Lord to thank for it.

Speaking of that couple, after they were married they were able to get baptized this week! We held their baptismal ceremony this Sunday, and our dawg Huldeson (who was gonna be baptized last week) hopped on the 'tism train right along with em as well! So it was the baptism of Hudleson, Izaia AND majara this last week! We were praying and fasting like heck so that everything'd work out and the Lord 100% helped us in carrying out these baptisms.

This coming week, we've got the baptism of someone named Maria Eduarda. Galll it's gonna be great! She's 8 years old and has been dying to been baptized ever since we've arrived here, we've been talking teaching with her mom almost every day and it's paying off! So as we teach her more and more of the Gospel principles, we've been focusing a lot on simplicity. I know that the Gospel of Christ isn't to be over complicated or overdetailed, but taught in the same way Christ taught us which was to be understood. I know he wants us to be like Children; willing to accept simple truths, act in faith and so easy to have a brightness and joy about them. Like Jesus says in his own words in 3 Nephi 9:

22 Therefore, whoso repenteth and cometh unto me as a little child, him will I receive, for of such is the kingdom of God. Behold, for such I have laid down my life, and have taken it up again; therefore repent, and come unto me ye ends of the earth, and be saved.

All that that the Lord wants from us is to have faith that his death wasn't in vain, and that we CAN be saved through him. He wants us to have faith in that truth, and faith enough to act and to repent to put it into action. I know that through those small and simple things are great things brought to pass, that's been a big theme of this week and I know it to be true. It is genuinely through Jesus Christ and living his Gospel that joy is found! I'm not just saying that, I'm living it. I promise anyone that is reading this with doubts that something here is true to explore more, and that you will find if you are willing to seek. That's the promise Christ has made, the promise he will never break, and the promise I know with a surety to be true.

Let me leave some photos here for you guys to show the happenings from the week. Love you all so much! Send me an email and lemme know how you are! Talk to you all here again in a few, tchau!
