Falaaa fala fala people just how are we doin'?
Hope everyone had an extra-American fourth of July filled with fireworks and barbecues, instead of nightmarish things like "kilometers" and "Celsius" like me (
). Naw I'm just playin but my fourth of July was sweet! We didn't do anything special here in the 'zil, but I got to run a division with THE elder baas and it was a grand old time. We got to kick it over in Marco Zero for the day and it was awesome seeing another part of Macapa. There's so many bridge neighborhoods though there it's nuts 
after one lesson we passed this dude walking his bike by us and like 3 seconds after passing him we heard a giant splash and bro completely tipped over and fell into the water
. Dude lost all the popsicles he was selling but we saved his phone and got him outta the water but it was such a random moment. It was actually a way fun division though, been a sec since I've left my area for a division and Elder Baas is a beast he taught me a ton. To celebrate the fourth we even got some mighty American-style burgers, it was a great fourth! (flicks below)

(flicks below) As for how the rest of the week goes, we've been doing a whole lotta fixin problems that coulda been avoided and learning from mistakes. I aint gonna go into detail cause it's a long story (those that know know) but we def learned some big lessons this week and worked hard to rectify them johns. We've also been working on some ideas to help the area progress, and we had the idea to start up a system of various family nights and ward activites throughout the month, to have more member-investigator friendships made. We met with a family of members each day to discuss our ideas and plans and everyone was hecka on board with it and said it was a great idea. When we arrived here there weren't any activities really goin on and I thought "oh there must be a good reason there's not" but no it was just that no one got the ball rolling so there's a good lesson in being the one to organize stuff! We're hyped about the member involvement here and I've got high hopes for the good more activites and friendships can do for the recent converts.

Not a whooole tonna stories to share from the week so lemme quit the yappin and get to the important part! Aight so this week I've been thinking a bunch about prayers. Everyone's got at least some kind of a relationship with God and they talk with him through prayers. They share dificulties, dreams and desires, hardships and hopes, anything and everything with him, and he hears each prayer made to him in faith. You can be the answer to someone else's prayer! If the name of someone you know or an action of kindness you could do comes to mind or calls your attention, act on it. Any thought or impression of good comes directly from God, and acting on those small promptings can answer other's prayers! Adding to this thought, Alma 5 says;
40 For I say unto you that whatsoever is good cometh from God, and whatsoever is evil cometh from the devil.
Integrate this scripture into your hearts! It's so simple, but acting on thoughts and impressions of good and kindness can so easily bring joy and light into your life. I have seen times through my life where I've been able to help others through acting on promptings to do good, but I've definitely been more blessed by others who chose to follow promptings of good towards me. I have seen other people be the answers to my own prayers, and I know that God hears our desires and works with our hearts to increase love here on the Earth. I love my savior and I know with certainty that joy is found through his Gospel, and through this principle! There's a video I love that shows how God works with others and ourselves through prayers.
