RUN FOR YOUR LIFE ๐Ÿƒ‍♂️๐Ÿ’ฆ

Greetings folk another week has passed. I aint gotta tonna time today cause we gonna play some SPORTS for p day today. Been basically ever since I left the mtc I haven't played basketball, we'll see if I remember how to dribble๐Ÿง‍♂️๐Ÿ€ anyways though lemme tell a little about how the week was

We got here on Tuesday and we immediately just started booking. I was like bro we should try and find someone ready for baptism this week and Elder Velasquez was like bet, so we just RAN to and from all the grey dots in the system who have already been to church. By Saturday night bro I was so beat, I felt like I was literally sleepwalking coming home. We weren't able to find anyone for baptism this week, but some of the folk we found came to church so that was super awesome

Thursday morning the AP called us and he was like "yo ima need you guys for babysitting" and summoned us to sรฃo bras on the pronto. A group of like 24 new missionaries had just gotten here on the mission, and he wanted Elder Velasquez and I to take 4 missionaries and do a divison. So the whole day I got to run it with 2 FRESH missionaries both from Utah ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ it was so fun with them, we tried speaking as much protuguese as we could and went teaching together, but overall it was just hype getting to show them the first taste of the field. They're gonna be awesome missionaries, and one of em ended up in my zone! Shoutout to Elder Lambert, absolute dawg

I've been reading the book of mormon (within the book of mormon) this last week, and it's crazy just how much it was written for our benefit today. Moroni straight up says in chapter 8 that he saw our days, he knows what we need and the Lord guided the prophets to write the book for our daily benefit.

The prophet Russell M Nelson made the promise to us that if we read the book of mormon every day, we'll make better decisions every day. I invite everyone reading to get into a habit of reading that book on the daily, it's impossible to read the book of mormon with the intent to learn, and not grow closer to Jesus Christ.

Love yall and keep safe, talk to you in the next one
