April 13: Bullfrog and sheepdog

Well folks, one of the most legendary transfers of the mission yet wraps up with a bow! The Lord blessed us so much over these last 6 weeks it's unreal. So grateful for all of the experiences had and all the memories gained along the way! Let's get into this last week

Tuesday right after our Zone P-Day, I ran a division with the great Elder E. Souza! Dude's a machine, we lowkey got rejected the whole day but he kept his head up through all of it like a beast. Glad I got to live it up with him too, cause this transfer he got sent to the mission office for good. Will see blud at the next CLM at least 😭☠️⚰️

Wednesday we had lunch with Jose and his family! We met his wife recently, and she came to church over conference and also this last week. It's been so great teaching them - they are such an elect family and Jose's wife always says that everything we explain makes sense to her! The Lord has 100% prepared their hearts, and they are a family very dear to us.

Thursday we stopped by their house again at night, and Jose told us that he used to be a genuine cowboy!! We didn't believe him, til he showed us old photos of him bucking broncos and riding horses. He even gave Elder Doman a LEGENDARY belt buckle as a goodbye present. Amazing guy!

Friday and Saturday were also great days! I realized I've gotta take more pictures, and we had Jose & Davi's baptismal interview, as well as Agatha & Aysha's baptismal interview!
Agatha & Aysha are these super sweet girls we met through our pal Henrique that was baptized some weeks ago. They're great! It's been fun finding creative ways to teach them so that they don't get distracted during the lesson. The 4 of them passed their interviews and were set to be baptized this Sunday!

Sunday we had their baptisms! The ward supported so much, and it was amazing to have their family there visiting and to meet them too.
The Lord 100% placed these wonderful people in our path, prepared their hearts for the message, and confirmed it's truth through the spirit. Elder Doman and I did like, nothing. However, I can recognize WHY this transfer was amazing with him, and how we saw so many milagres over the last 6 weeks.
We did our part. We strived more and more each passing week to be obedient. To be one. To align our will with God's, and to eliminate distracting elements in our day to day. Doing these things, I can certainly look back on this transfer without regrets! I am so grateful for the Lord's mercy and for this promise he made in doctrine in covenants:

"And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up."

I'm psyched for this next transfer too. There's a young G named elder babcock pulling up to the Milagre crib as we speak, so the train won't stop a-movin'. Stay tuned! Love you all!
