MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU ๐Ÿ––๐ŸŒ

So there we were, running to the bus station with just minutes to spare... I don't know how, but every good email has to start with running... I'm running out of other ideas... but anyways, back to the running... We had gotten all of our things ready and bags packed for the mission leader conference, but right when we needed Uber the most, nobody in all of Castanhal was accepting... why? Mutiny... So then Elder Babcock, panicked, stands up and says we've got to GO! How? I asked. The trail to the bus station was 30 minutes, and the bus was gonna leave in 15! But with the combined power of determination, swimmer's lungs & broken-in Allen Edmonds, we managed to make it there in 15 minutes... We got to the ticket booth, sweaty and out of breath, and to make things worse the ticket guy said that the bus we needed had just left! My hope was already out the window, but Elder Babcock, with that crazed maniac look in his eyes I know so well, went "let's catch it on the way out" so we ran out of the bus station and saw the bus we needed pulling out. Hope. We started to whistle and wave it down, and the driver was kind enough to stop and let us into the bus. With that adventure behind us, we made our way to Elder Babcock's first mission leader's conference... Good afternoon everyone, hope everyone's doing just peachy! This week was full of surprises, and miracles too. Starting off, the CLM was incredible!
Shoutout Elder Doman for the amazing training! Love you bro, knocked it out of the park. #dreamteam4eva
Shoutout Elder Emett and Elder Otazo for the trainings too! So much was said at the CLM that I've been needing to hear. We talked a lot about loving the missionaries in our zone above all else, and accompanying our friends better during the week. Put these inspired changes in practice, and the mission is sure to improve!
