Flicks-falando

There are at times weeks in a mans life where the flicks to news ratio is uneven. This is one of those weeks, I have lots of photos but little updates hahaha. I'll still give what I can though! NEWS: - The Pismel family are like a family to me, anybody who serves here in Castanhal has gotta meet them. Such good people - Elder Babcock & I are making a super good team! He's an amazing dude, great example of how excitement changes the work. Very outward-focused, very funny, very big heart and a genuine worry for others' well-being. One of the strongest dawgs I've met here on the mish - We did some sweet service this week! Brick moving and plastic panel shredding, shoutout e. Babcock for seeing an opportunity to serve & going for it - Ran a division in Bragança w/ Elder Sandquist (Sandwich) and Elder Jones! These guys are hilarious. Super good to see the city of Baguda again and run it with these guys, such studs in this Zone - We had our Thursday activity again! It was a little weak this week but we ain't gonna give up. Just more room to improve each week! We were frustrated and stressed this week because we felt like we were giving our all but not seeing many fruits. We realized though that the Lord is teaching us a lesson about Patience, and that we need to focus on doing our part. There's this SUPER famous scripture/promise from D&C that my mission uses all the time. D&C 82:10 I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise. It was a good reminder to me that if I do what God asks, the blessings will come! Maybe not in the time that I'm expecting but they will. I pass the same promise to all of you reading. It may seem like the Heavens are closed or that God is "busy doing other things," but I know that he knows that loves each one of his children indudually. He knows our lives. He loves us! Love you all a Brazilian Million, até mais! 🇧🇷🌴 ELDER HILLSTEAD The funny part too is that email is being a bum and won't let me upload the rest of the flicks too sooo... few flicks AND few news!

WHAT A WEEK       Holy cow you guys, I feel like I just got done running a marathon and here I'm finally catching my breath. This week was straight up nutso, so much stuff went down but it all ended well. You guys remember that whole "miracle marriage" thing that went down at the beginning of month? So this week was the follow up appointment, legal signing of the marriage document, and the agended baptism of both Pedro and Amanda. Whaaaats up everybody how's it going?? Happy to see all your smiling faces here again, same time same place reading another piece of Hillstead mail... I hope you're smiling anyway. But guys this last week was a real whooper, tons o' stuff happened and I've got pictures in case anyone wants proof. But enough of the appetizer let's get to the main freakin dish already        We had a Mission Tour this last week! This gentlemen named Elder Eddy (member of the 70) rolled up to the mission to talk with all of us and it was great. He spoke about the importance of us staying focused on our purpose, and doing the right stuff for the right reason, and my oh my was it a message for the ages. One of those messages you hear and you're ready to hit the streets and work hard as tar. Yo yo yo peeps how goes it. This week was a good one! Majority was just a-workin and a-learnin, so lemme think. I'll start off the email with all the outline other stuff that this week contained and then get into the actual content. Outlining Information ️     - Saw a beetle the other day that was rather large   maybe it was John      - Tried Belém's Sushi and was mad questionable   tasted fire but my stomach hated me after      - How are the clouds here always so beautiful every single day   they're always crying though      - The fam's traveling in Australia people, pray for them        Really tried to use as many emojis as I could for maximum entertainment there.
