JULY 13: GIVE UP BABY GO

Whatsuuuuupp people! Running it back here in Bacarena w/ Elder A-L-B-U-Querque, Mario & Luigi part 2 baby. This first week was pretty tough not gonna lie, but there were also plenty of evidences of the Lord's hand in the work. Lemme get into the rotten then the rich of the week! THE ROTTEN: Dude basically all the members here in Barcarena are real discouraged. This is the oldest district in the mission (and certainly one of the oldest in Brazil), and for whatever reason despite the best efforts the district can't become a stake. Despite that though the members are supporting us and doing their best! We've got lunch with members everyday 🍽😋 There was a lunch this week where one of the ladies was having a real bad day. She started going off on how much the branches are lacking and told us to basically give up trying to save them 💀 Albuquerque & I aren't bout to let that slide, despite the challenge we gonna give this transfer our all Also this house is SOOOOOO HOOOOOTTT but its aight Ill be missing the heat here soon hahaha THE RIPE: -Goated Comp (shoutout elder albuquerque) 👑 -Goated boys in the shack with us (shoutout e. Janderson & Stewart, these guys crack me up) -Beautiful area with lots of trees! -Lots of potential here, lots of folk that have already been to the church and have already accepted baptismal dates just this first week! -Best zone in the mish #metajábatida -flicks with a parrot??? Down below -we finally arrived at acai season yesss 🫐🍵 Lots to be grateful for! This transfer is gonna be incredible and gonna fly the heck by. So excited to make the most of every day.
